“Ask Yourself” Check List: Disneyland Trip Planning
Create a vacation budget
The first and most important part of planning a Disney trip is figuring out what your budget is. Ask yourself- How much am I willing/can afford to spend?
Consider who is joining you
Knowing the number of people going on this trip will help plan activities and hotel arrangements. Ask yourself- Who is going on this trip? How many adults? How many children? How old are the children?
Decide the number of days
The timeline of your trip is needed to begin the reservation process. Ask yourself- How many days can I take off from work? How many days will I need to be able to do everything on my Disney bucket list?
Choose a season
Disneyland is open all year round! You’ll have to decide what season you want to be at Disneyland for. Ask yourself- Do I want to go for a special holiday or celebration? Do I want to go when the crowds are low? What would I prefer the weather to look like when I'm there?
Pick a hotel
There are a lot of hotel options located near the Disneyland resort. Having so many options can be overwhelming. Ask yourself- Do I want to stay at one of the Disneyland hotels? Do I prefer a neighborhood hotel? How close do I want my hotel to be to the parks? Do I want to stay at a hotel within a reasonable walking distance?
Figure out transportation
If you live in California you might consider driving to Anaheim. Ask yourself- Do I want to drive to Anaheim? Do I prefer to travel on a plane? How much would each option cost me? How are you going to get ther
Choose a park
The Disneyland resort has two main parks. Disneyland and Disney California Adventure. Ask yourself- Do I want to go to both parks? Or just one?
